Horizon 12V Fast, powerful, and compact, the Horizon Windlasses are lightweight and proportioned to fit on any boat, even those with the smallest, most limited of foredecks. Permanent magnet motors and efficient internal spur gearings provide excellent torque with minimal power draw, and are protected by a fully sealed and waterproof, coated aluminum housing. Features include power up/down, emergency release, easy installation, and attractive design. This Horizon Windlass features a Gypsy/Drum configuration. The Gypsy/Drum models feature a drum in addition to the gypsy for additional control of rodes. All models include a up/down switch, circuit breaker, and mounting hardware. All this adds up to great windlasses guaranteed to provide years of reliable service in an often-challenging environment.
